Critical infrastructures are an attractive target for attackers, mainly due to the catastrophic impact of these attacks on society. In addition, cyber–physical nature makes them more vulnerable threats and detection, investigation, remediation security difficult. Therefore, improving correlations, forensics investigations, Incident response tasks is paramount importance. This work describes SMS-I tool that allows improvement aspects in critical infrastructures. Data from heterogeneous systems, over different time frames, received correlated. Both physical logical unified additional details analysed find attack evidence. Different Artificial Intelligence (AI) methodologies used process analyse multi-dimensional data exploring temporal correlation between cyber Alerts going beyond traditional techniques detect unusual Events, then evidence attacks. SMS-I’s Intelligent Dashboard supports decision makers a deep analysis how breaches assets were explored compromised. It assists facilitates analysts using graphical dashboards Alert classification suggestions. they can easily identify anomalous situations be related possible occurrences. Users also explore information, with levels detail, including information technical specifications. integrates scalable open Security Response Platform (TheHive) enables sharing about Incidents helps organizations better understand proactively defend their systems networks.
